My name is Kendra Freeman and education is my passion.  I was born and raised in Texas, and I have lived in the Denton area my entire life. I went to Texas Woman’s University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies while minoring in education. I student taught in Denton ISD where I spent seven weeks in third grade observing and teaching all subjects. I love math, science and anything active. In my spare time I love to watch baseball (go Rangers), travel, the beach is my favorite place to go, and spend time with friends and family.

A project based learning and STEM opportunity for kids.  The bridge between learning and fun, classroom and community, and students and teachers.

My name is Alyssa Hill, and I teach fourth grade at Wells Elementary in Plano. I have been teaching fourth grade for 3 years but I also student taught in fifth grade at Gulledge Elementary. I received my bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in December of 2013. Axe ‘em Jacks! I truly believe that every child is someone’s whole world and that each child deserves an opportunity to explore the world through education. I have a huge passion for technology in the classroom and making learning as engaging and rewarding as possible. I am from the Dallas area. I went away briefly for college but I am back for good! In  my free time, I love to read, work out, try new restaurants, and learn all things techy! I am thrilled to spend the summer working with students who love to learn!

My name is Crystal Vasquez, and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Haun Elementary. I have a passion for learning, and I hope to instill this same desire for knowledge into each of my students. I was born and raised in Texas, and I have lived in Frisco my entire life. I have a Master of Education degree from Southern Methodist University. I completed my student teaching experience at Haun, and I was so blessed to be able to start my career at such a wonderful school. In my spare time, I like to read, play soccer recreationally, and spend time with my family and husband. I am so excited to get to work with your kiddo this summer! We will grow together, and we will create a classroom filled with exploration, investigation, learning, and fun!
